Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers is an organization which was established Decades ago to conduct events related to chemical engineering field for chemical engineering undergraduate students, post graduate students and people with related professions.
IIChE is one of the most active societies in Thapar University, imparting knowledge about chemistry and technology involved in the science of chemistry.
We believe to promote the advancement of chemical engineering science and draw up a code of ethics in the profession. We also want to maintain and widen our contacts with chemical engineering professionals in India and abroad. We want to act as an authoritative body on matters or training to the teaching and the profession of chemical engineering.
WarTrade is a two-day mega event where players from all over India get to re-enact a battlefield on a virtual stage by both creating their own bombs as well as negotiating its components. WarTrade offers the best platform for all the engineering buffs and business heads to showcase their Technical Knowledge and Persuasion Skills on a global scale.
During the event, participants will be collaborating in teams of representative countries with a preassigned monetary budget. They’ll be battling it out with other teams by boasting their superior firepower in terms of bombs and negotiation skills. Players will have to compete in a sudden verbal cross-fire and haggle in an intense tradewar with other countries as sudden crisis strikes and political powerplay comes into action.
WarTrade has plenty to motivate, encourage and enjoy in a competitive inter-team interaction and is bound to BLOW everyone's minds.
